These beautifully handcrafted Jewellery holders are my original design based on traditional Hoz (Water pools) of ancient Iran. Every traditional Persian house would house one of these blue beauties in the garden with it's distinctive turquoise tiles and mini goldfish. Apart from being beautiful their main use was for washing and keeping fruit cool in the summer months. The image of fruit gently bobbing in the Hoz on a lazy summer afternoon is a trip down memory lane for many who lived in Iran.
Each Hoz measures at 9.5cm diameter and 4 cm high.
They are all hand painted filled with high quality Resin. Each Hoz is then tiled with my heavenly turquoise handmade mini tiles and the base of each Hoz is covered in felt for that soft feel on your furniture. These beauties are best seen in the light as the little fish below can be seen clearly in the sunlight.
